Description
This is made from full cream milk from the morning milking, and skimmed milk from the evening milking.
All the milk is unpasteurised, vegetarian rennet** is used and the cheese is aged for at least three weeks.
Single Gloucester is pale yellow in colour with a well balanced sweet, sharp flavour and creamy texture.
**Vegetarian rennet: This is plant based, usually from cardoon thistle, artichokes, or nettles.
