Chicken necks are perfect for use as low-cost stock bones but they are also often used in recipes from such places as Asia, Jamaica and Africa. Traditional British recipes often call for using the neck and sometimes the rest of the giblets to make gravy for a roast chicken dinner.

Using them for stews or roasting, like chicken wings, can be tasty alternatives.
